The Guardian Prefab Story
What began as a specialized focus in custom booth manufacturing, Guardian Prefab has grown into a comprehensive family of prefabricated modular solutions serving diverse needs across North America. The original business line, Guardian Booth, continues to lead the market in portable security enclosures and modular office solutions since its origin in 2014. With a commitment to continuous growth and innovation at the forefront, Guardian Prefab expanded their modular capabilities through the acquisition of Guardian Homes (formerly Homes by Keystone) in 2022, and now are exploring additional offerings through development of the Guardian Trailers and Guardian Commercial lines.
Guardian Prefab’s utilization of modular construction in their versatile divisions allows them to provide customers with quality, safe, and long-lasting structures that serve a vast assortment of business and homeowner needs.
Our Reach
Guardian Booth was born in Orangeburg, New York, with a mission to design, build, and customize the right product for each customer’s unique needs. From simple structures to complex solutions, the team brought first-hand understanding to every project. When the need for more efficient production and distribution arose to meet market demands, the company established additional manufacturing capacity with a facility in Juarez, Mexico.
Taking a big step forward through the strategic acquisition of Homes by Keystone, Guardian joined forces with Keystone’s leadership to combine decades of expertise in prefabricated construction and relocated the headquarters to Waynesboro, Pennsylvania. Today, the Waynesboro plant employs 65-70 people working across three shifts, demonstrating our commitment to American manufacturing and job creation in the Franklin County area.
